Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23
I often have people say to me, "Nancy will you pray for me because God answers your prayers. I don't think He hears mine." Friend it isn't that God is not hearing your prayers it is that you are not obeying His instruction.
No one likes to talk about obedience....we love to talk about grace but never obedience. However, that is a watered down gospel my friends. If you love God you will keep His word and obey His instruction.
Obedience is the key that unlocks the provision and prosperity of God over your life.
But know that the Lord has set apart the godly man for Himself;
The Lord hears when I call to Him. Psalms 4:3
There is a life victorious that God wants you to live but you have to follow His commands. We often are disobedient to His word and then wonder why we live in fear, anxiety, poverty, and bondage. The consequences of sin are the reasons we do not walk in freedom. I know, because I lived like this myself for a long time. We reap what we sow friends. There are a lot of "Christians" living in bondage every day. Bondage because we are ignoring the will of God for our lives.
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
It is not God's desire that we lack any good thing. He has promised us peace in troubled times, plenty in times of lack, health in times of sickness, joy in times of sorrow. This is available to us if we will listen and obey His instruction. We cannot live according to the world and the flesh and expect to experience the supernatural power and provision of God.
God does not require we get cleaned up before we come to Him. We come to Him broken, beaten up, beaten down, in bondage and despair. The Holy Spirit, if we will let Him, will create in us a clean heart and use us for the glory of God. Surrender your life to God, He makes ALL things new. There is no more important decision you will make in your life than to fully give your life to God.
